This project began with a 3D printing mistake. A Godzilla print failed, leaving only the lower half. I set it aside and printed a new one.

Later, my four-year-old grandson placed a round wooden disk on top of the misprint and said it looked like a table. That simple idea sparked the project.

I transformed the disk by painting it black, reverse laser engraving the design, and sealing it with epoxy for depth and contrast. After finishing the edges and final details, the failed print became a unique Godzilla-themed display table.

What started as a printing error ended as one of my favorite creations.
